Autumn Crucible of Flavors & What a Pate 2020

Autumn Crucible of Flavors & What a Pate 2020 | 17-18.10.2020 | Castle in Kliczkow

On October 17 and 18, 2020, the Pro Culture Bono Foundation, based at the Castle in Kliczków, will organize an event called the Autumn Crucible of Flavors. In other words this is a Festival of (not only) culinary traditions. We particularly kindly invite the Rural Housewives Clubs and Folk Bands who would like to celebrate our event with their presence.

You can also try the pates – traditional meat and vegetables – as well as regional homemade liqueurs. As every year, in reference to the many years of tradition of the culinary competition “What a Pate!”, in addition to assessing the competition patties, dumplings and tinctures, we will also run a cauldron contest – one-pot dishes, prepared during the day in the castle courtyard by the submitted teams.
There will be fair market exhibitors with a wide selection of regional traditional craft products. During the day we also plan performances of folk bands and all those who want to present with their repertoire. An exhibition of artistic works of children from primary schools and kindergartens from the area of the Osiecznica commune will also take place.   We will prepare occasional refreshments for all visiting groups who want to demonstrate their local traditions or exhibit with traditional handicrafts. For groups who will come from afar to share their folklore with us (they will sing, tell or dance) and want to stay on both days we will provide rooms for free for accommodation in The Duke’s Manor – the number of places is limited.
During the weekend there will be a team preparing photo / video coverage, which will later be available to all interested parties.

To confirm your willingness to participate or questions, please contact us at the following e-mail address: or by telephone: 600 393 260

We invite craftsmen, artists, creators and traders to take part in the Autumn Crucible of Flavors in Kliczków Castle and to present and sell their products in the park and castle complex.
